After the CSS Avenger is ambushed and destroyed, young Lieutenant Owen Shaw and two crewmates crash-land on an uncharted planet. 

Badly injured, surrounded by deadly creatures lurking in the jungle and no way to call for help, their chances of survival are slim—until they stumble upon a group of crash survivors who have lived on the planet for years. 

But something about these people doesn’t add up, and and Owen’s instincts tell him the real danger may not be the jungle after all.
